ABOUT US

Blue Frog Film & Media is an independent video production company based in Transylvania, Romania. We specialize in the production of wildlife films, social documentaries and video content for televisions and businesses.
Our name comes from the Moor Frog, one of the rarest amphibians in Romania. The males of this creature turn blue during the breeding season. We were happy to discover and later film these blue frogs in the mountain basin of the Eastern Carpathians where we are based.

Holding degrees in Biology and Film making, Ágota worked as a freelancer for many years before co-founding Blue Frog Film & Media.

Laci is a biologist and farm boy who enjoys exploring nature, making hay, learning from and teaching people about nature. He explores ponds, fairy shrimp, frogs, hay meadows, leads nature walks and lately was involved in nature conservation management and human-bear conflict mitigation in the Eastern Carpathians.

Adel is our editor.
She brings editing experience from her family photographic business. Her precise and systematic approach is fundamental to
our editing and production process. Since 2020 she has been with us she has impressed all her colleagues with her enthusiasm and dedication.
Cinematographer, Filmmaker
Norbert is an experienced nature guide and photographer who organises and runs nature and wildlife tours in Transylvania. In recent years he
has participated in research on large carnivores. About
a decade ago he started to work with
a team of Hungarian wildlife filmmakers, Filmjungle Studio,
as a wildlife cinematographer, working on several nature films. From 2020 onwards he will be bringing his skills and experience to Blue Frog Film and Media too.
